By using my signature C.A.L.M protocol, my community is able to not only survive but thrive in their fourth trimester.
Today, so many mothers step into the postpartum chapter without the steady guidance, wisdom, and hands-on support they expected to have. Families are busy, partners are learning alongside you, and there isn’t always someone there to show you what healing and nourishment are supposed to look like. And even the most prepared moms still find themselves wondering if they have what they need — if they’re truly supported, if they’re recovering the right way, if they’re doing enough for themselves while caring for a new baby. Postpartum quickly becomes a mix of exhaustion, questions, and a quiet longing for reassurance. This is exactly why I created my C.A.L.M. protocol. To give you the practical tools, emotional grounding, and ancestral wisdom I share with my in-person clients. A way to have a postpartum doula in your pocket, guiding you through the moments when you’d usually wish someone was there. So the real question is… How can you give yourself the support, nourishment, and clarity your body and mind truly need after birth; even without a full village at home?
Learning to build your village
What kind of support do I want to be surrounded by during my postpartum recovery? How can I prepare my home environment to support rest, warmth, and healing? What conversations do I need to have with my partner or loved ones before birth so we’re on the same page? Who are the people I genuinely feel safe, comfortable, and held with?
Traditional practices with a modern lens
What beliefs about “bouncing back” or doing it all myself do I need to let go of? How did mothers historically nourish themselves — and how can I bring that into my kitchen today? How can I create a postpartum rhythm that honors slowness and restoration? What can we learn from cultures that prioritize rest and mother-care?
From breastfeeding support to nutritional guidance- we've got you covered
What quick, nourishing meals can I prep now to support recovery? How can I set realistic expectations for myself and my partner in the first 40 days? How can I protect my milk supply in the early weeks? What simple newborn-care skills will lower my stress and increase my confidence?
I created this postpartum program after years of traveling, learning, and witnessing how different cultures care for mothers after birth. I saw how nourishing, supported, and held postpartum can be when communities still honour the traditions our modern world has forgotten.
And I also saw the opposite— what happens when mothers don’t have access to that kind of support. I’ve met expectant moms who felt unsure and anxious about their recovery because they didn’t know what to expect. I’ve talked to mothers who already lived through a difficult first postpartum and were determined not to repeat that experience. And I’ve held space for women who were exhausted, overwhelmed, or grieving that they didn’t receive the care they truly needed the first time around. So many were trying to rebuild, re-nourish, and recover… while carrying the weight of what they lacked. This program was born for them. For the mother who wants guidance, nourishment, and grounding. For the mother who wants her next postpartum to feel supported, not depleted. For the mother who simply deserves to be nurtured.
Hi, I’m Ashley — postpartum doula, lactation counselor, chef, and someone who has spent years immersed in women’s health, birth, and postpartum recovery.
I stepped into this work originally to prepare myself for motherhood, but it quickly became a deeper calling. Through training in physiological birth, lactation, nutrition, and hands-on postpartum care, I’ve supported families through those raw early weeks when guidance, rest, and reassurance matter most. My journey hasn’t been linear. I’ve moved countries, rebuilt my life more than once, and grown through the same uncertainty many women face. But every time, I came back to birth work because this is where I’m meant to be. I’m excited to share my knowledge because postpartum doesn’t have to feel chaotic or lonely. With the right education and support, it becomes a period of healing, bonding, and confidence. My goal is simple: to help mothers feel held, prepared, and empowered whether I’m in their home or in their pocket through my programs.
